Live in orbit: Crew settles in for long haul

You can watch ongoing live coverage of the activities in space as the crew of Atlantis wraps up their launch day activities and settles in for the two-day chase of the space station.

In the post-flight news conference that ended around 4:15 p.m., the Europeans celebrated the long awaited launch of their science module and NASA said the flight was clean.

Some ice and other debris seen in launch replays was deemed something engineers have seen before. However, it's now being studied aggressively on films and photos by teams of engineers across the country just in case.
