Live in orbit: Airlock door opened, Earth viewed

"It's awesome. We just passed over the Alps," said spacewalker Rex Walheim as he waited to leave the airlock and begin his third spacewalk.

Walheim and Stan Love disconnected their spacesuit umbilicals at 9:13 a.m. EST going on battery power, which officially begins the 6.5-hour spacewalk.
