Live at KSC: Astronauts make smooth landing














Shuttle Atlantis and seven astronauts are back home at Kennedy Space Center after a problem-free plunge back through the atmosphere and safe landing on Runway 15.

Main gear touchdown was recorded 12 days, 18 hours, 21 minutes and 40 seconds after the shuttle's Feb. 7 launch on a mission to deliver the European Columbus science laboratory to the International Space Station. Unofficial touchdown time: 9:07:10 a.m.

Nose gear touchdown came at a Mission Elapsed Time of 12 days, 18 hours, 21 minutes and 55 seconds. Unofficial time: 9:07:20 a.m.

Wheels stop came at 12 days, 18 hours, 22 minutes and 38 seconds Mission Elapsed Time. Unofficial time: 9:08:08 a.m.
