The repaired solar wing is now fully unfurled at the International Space Station, and spacewalking astronauts Scott Parazynski and Douglas Wheelock are getting ready to head back to the U.S. Quest airlock.
The success evoked a loud whoop from Parazynski.
"Beautiful. Beautiful," said Wheelock.
"All right. Great news. What an accomplishment. Phenomenal," said Parazynski.
"Great team work. Excellent work guys. Excellent," station commander Peggy Whitson said. "But it's not over yet. We've still got to get you inside."
"That would be nice," Parazynski said.
