
The U.S. Harmony module was successfully delivered to the International Space Station today during a tricky crane operation that involved flipping the 15.5 ton node after hoisting it out of shuttle Discovery's cargo bay.
Discovery mission specialist Stephanie Wilson and station flight engineer Dan Tani pulled off the important assembly work from inside the U.S. Destiny science lab. They got an assist from spacewalkers Scott Parazynski and Douglas Wheelock, who prepped the Harmony module for the hoist.
