NASA's Dawn spacecraft has beamed back initial signals and NASA mission managers will discuss its launch and mission ahead at a news briefing to be held here at Kennedy Space Center at 1 p.m.
The participants will include Jim Adams, deputy directopr of the Planetary Sciences Division at NASA Headquarters; Keyur Patel, Dawn Project Manager at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory; and Chris Russell, Dawn Principal Investigator from the University of California at Los Angeles.
