Here's a real cool image recently beamed back from the Cassini spacecraft, which was launched in October 1997 from aboard a Titan 4 rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The small dot near the top of the photo is Epimetheus, a small moon circling Saturn. It's just 72 miles across. The giant moon Titan, which is 3,200 miles wide, is in the background and two of the planet's rings stretch across the scene.
Click to enlarge the image, which was taken April 28 with Cassini's narrow-angle camera as the spacecraft flew some 415,000 miles from Epimetheus and 1.1 million miles from Titan. Cassini will close within 1,168 miles of Titan during a flyby Saturday.
