Two shuttle missions set for launch in 2007 are getting new crew members and, in some cases, losing some crew members.
John Olivas is joining the crew of STS-117, to be commanded by Fred Sturckow. The 117 crew will deliver a truss segment bearing a new set of solar arrays for the International Space Station.
Tracy Caldwell and Richard Mastracchio are the newest member of the STS-118 crew. Caldwell is a rookie flier. Mastracchio is being bumped back one flight from STS-117 to STS-118. Departing STS-118: Scott Parazynski, who NASA says will be assigned to another mission (though it is not disclosed which mission). STS-118 will be commanded by Scott Kelly and deliver another truss segment and a logistics carrier to the space station.
