
The Hubble Space Telescope folks have released a detailed new image of the Pinwheel Galaxy, M101, created from archived images taken over a decade by the Advanced Camera for Surveys and the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2. Those images were superimposed onto images taken from the ground. Credit: NASA and the European Space Agency. Read more here.
