Weather Officer Kathy Winters had some potentially bad news on Thursday for the expected crowd of about one million expected to be along the Space Coast today for the final launch in the space shuttle program.
Winters said cloud decks are expected at both 3,000 and 8,000 feet for launch attempts today through Sunday.
Clouds at Kennedy Space Center obscured the view of shuttle Endeavour’s launch after only 22 seconds following its launch in May.
