Kennedy Space Center operations are back to normal after evacuations this morning caused by a ruptured gas line.
A backhoe operator working outside a cafeteria near the Vehicle Assembly Building accidently broke a gas line sometime after 8 a.m.
The gas line was shut off and there were no injuries or damage to any buildings.
Employees evacuated from the VAB and several surrounding office buildings were allowed to return to work by about 11 a.m., according to a KSC spokesperson.
There was no interruption to work on shuttle Discovery at launch pad 39A.
