Sneak preview: new moon-landing web site

Tomorrow, we launch a new web site aimed at sharing the memories of the first moon landing 40 years ago this year. You can get a sneak preview today by going to floridatoday.com/moonlanding.

Folks can share their photographs, their stories and other neat stuff. You can load pictures and videos, documents, or anything else you have that might be interesting to others who worked on the program or simply followed it.

Already there: completely searchable editions of every FLORIDA TODAY from 1969, thousands of Apollo-era photographs from the NASA and TODAY archives, and photographs of memorabilia local people shared with us at a special event at Brevard Community College earlier this year. There's much more. You could spend hours exploring there.

We hope you enjoy it. Check it out by clicking here.
