Live at the Cape: Launch On Track For 10:49 p.m.

Final preparations for the launch of a Delta II rocket and NASA's Kepler spacecraft are continuing at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and it appears there are no show-stoppers at this point.

Liftoff remains scheduled for 10:49 p.m.

NASA and United Launch Alliance just entered one final built-in hold in the count. The holds are designed to give engineers time to work any problems or catch up on launch preps, but all systems appear to be ready to fly. The duration of the hold will be 10 minutes, and the countdown will pick up at T-Minus 4 minutes at 10:45 p.m.

NASA has two, three-minute launch windows tonight: 10:49 p.m. through 10:52 p.m. and 11:13 p.m. through 11:16 p.m.
