Ice team reports; Decision poll at 10:44 a.m.

Ice might be melting. Compare this photo with earlier image in previous blog entry.

The final inspection team has completed their inspection of a four-inch piece of ice on the fuel line bracket. The team sent photos of the ice to the Mission Management Team, which will take a final "go/no go" poll at 10:44 a.m.

"It appears it's possible the ice could be diminishing in size," said the NASA commentator.

The ice was found on the 17-inch liquid hydrogen umbilical fuel line that goes into the tank.

The ice appeared to be 4 inches by 1.5 inches in diameter.
