U.S. Reps. Sandy Adams and Bill Posey will address the National Space Club Florida Committee at a monthly luncheon meeting today.
The pair of Republican representatives are slated to discuss "Congress and the Space Coast" during the 11:30 a.m. event at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral.
Adams' 24th District and Posey's 15th encompass Brevard County and Kennedy Space Center.
In her first term, Adams, of Orlando, serves on the Science, Space and Technology committee.
Posey, a former state senator from Rockledge, is in his second term.
The House Appropriations Committee has recommended a $1.6-billion cut to NASA's budget, to $16.8 billion, for the 2012 fiscal year starting Oct. 1.
