NASA previews final shuttle flight

NASA today is previewing the 135th and final shuttle mission in briefings to the media at Johnson Space Center.

9 a.m. Shuttle Program Overview

10:30 a.m. STS-135 Mission Overview
1 p.m. STS-135 Spacewalk Overview
2 p.m. STS-135 Crew News Conference

Atlantis is eight days from a planned 11:26 a.m. launch on July 8 from Kennedy Space Center.

It's scheduled to fly a 12-day mission to resupply the International Space Station before returning to Florida July 20 to end the shuttle program.
