Heat-Shield Inspectors Move To Shuttle Nosecap

The Endeavour astronauts are scanning the composite carbon nosecap of the shuttle orbiter as an extensive survey of heat-shield components continues in low Earth orbit.

No obvious damage was apparent during the two-hour scan of the shuttle's starboard wing, which was completed by mission specialist Mike Fincke and pilot Gregory "Box" Johnson.

The timing of major mission milestones can be found in the latest version -- Rev B -- of the STS-134 NASA TV Schedule.

You can check out the crew's detailed schedule here in the Flight Day 2 Execure Package.
