SpaceX plans "big" announcement.

SpaceX has been whetting the appetite of the space community with the promise of a "Something Big is Coming" announcement later this morning.

Elon Musk, CEO and chief technical officer of SpaceX, will hold a press conference this morning in Washington, D.C. to discuss the aerospace company's next venture.

Many believe it will be the announcement of a heavy lift rocket: the Falcon Heavy.
