Government won't shut down during Discovery flight

Fears of a federal government shutdown in the middle of Discovery's final flight have been averted.

The U.S. Senate today approved a two-week spending bill that would fund government operations from March 4, when the current continuing resolution expires, to March 18. President Obama is expected to sign it into law soon.
