A water main break has delayed this morning's move of Discovery into the Vehicle Assembly Building, as at least sections of Kennedy Space Center currently have no running water.
Details on the break between here and Cocoa were not immediately available.
Discovery was scheduled to exit its processing hangar at 6:30 a.m. for a "rollover" to the assembly building.
The move cannot proceed because fire suppression systems are not available. It's expected to be delayed at least several hours, if not longer.
Here at the Launch Complex 39 Press Site, no water is flowing to fountains or bathroom taps, and toilets can't be flushed.
We'll update the water supply status and rollover plans as soon as possible.
