Six Atlantis astronauts are cruising toward Kennedy Space Center in a fleet of four T-38 jets that took off recently from Ellington Field in Houston.

The planes are expected to touch down on KSC's three-mile shuttle landing strip around 7 p.m.

Mission commander Ken Ham, pilot Tony Antonelli and mission specialists Steve Bowen, Mike Good, Garrett Reisman and Piers Sellers are arriving ahead of their 2:20 p.m. Friday launch to the International Space Station.
