Weather 80 percent favorable for Discovery's Monday launch
It's expected to be clear and sunny Monday providing an 80 percent chance weather will be favorable for Discovery's early morning launch.
"Weather looks very promising for launch," said Kathy Winters, shuttle weather officer. "The only concern is just a slight concern for fog or low cloud ceiling, but there's really just a slight chance for this."
The forecast is the same if launch has to be delayed 24 hours, but at this time NASA officials say all systems are go for 6:21 a.m. Monday.
If it's pushed back until Wednesday, the favorable weather chances decrease to 60 percent due to clouds.
The seven astronauts who will blast off aboard Discovery arrived at Kennedy Space Center this morning.
The 13-day mission will deliver science racks, supplies and equipment to the International Space Station.
