Watch live: Atlantis pre-launch news conference

With the postponement early this morning of an Atlas V rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, space shuttle Atlantis has resumed the countdown to a 2:28 p.m. Monday launch from Kennedy Space Center.

NASA plans to hold a pre-launch news conference today at KSC no earlier than 11 a.m.

Expected to discuss the 11-day mission to the International Space Station are Mike Moses, Mission Management Team chair; Mike Leinbach, shuttle launch director; and Kathy Winters, shuttle weather officer.

Today's forecast from the Air Force's 45th Weather Squadron is unchanged and remains excellent - a 90-percent chance of good conditions during Monday's 10-minute window.

Conditions would get worse over the following days, with only a 40-percent chance of good weather on Wednesday.
