The closeout crew at launch pad 39A has latched and sealed the hatch to space shuttle Endeavour's crew cabin. Seven astronauts are strapped into their seats inside the orbiter, hoping their fifth launch attempt gets off the ground at 6:51 p.m.
After closure of the 350-pound hatch, the crew will perform leak checks and pressurize the cabin to 14.7 pounds per square inch.
