Launch of a Delta IV rocket carrying a weather satellite has officially been reset for 6:14 p.m. Saturday.
Like today, the window extends for one hour.
Joel Tumbiolo, the Air Force meteorologist for the mission, expects a similar weather pattern for Saturday.
The forecast is 60-percent "no go," slightly better than the 70-percent margin for today.
Since stormy weather is expected to clear overnight, United Launch Alliance will not need to protect the rocket by rolling a mobile service tower back over it.
ULA probably will not make three countdowns in a row because of the workload on the launch team, said Kris Walsh, commercial program manager for ULA.
So if Saturday's launch scrubs, the next attempt would likely be Monday.
