Spacewalking astronauts Steve Swanson and Joe Acaba are heading into the home stretch of their excursion outside the International Space Station, wrapping up a couple of final tasks before making their way back to the Quest airlock.

Swanson is at the Z-1 segment of the station's central truss, reconfiguring a patch panel. Acaba is trying to retrieve a foot restraint.

Both then will head back to the P3 segment of the truss to tie down an experiment platform that they were unable to deploy properly.

Swanson set up a second GPS navigation antenna atop the Japanese section of the station. The antenna will be used to help guide Japanese HTV cargo carriers during rendezvous and dockings with the station. The unpiloted Japanese space freighter will make its debut flight in September.

Acaba used digital and infrared cameras to document a damaged radiator on the S-1 truss segment.
