Martinez Joins NASA Oversight Committee

This report from Eun Kim in Washington:

WASHINGTON - Sen. Mel Martinez has been assigned to the Senate panel that has oversight on NASA.

The Orlando Republican will join his Democratic counterpart, Sen. Bill Nelson, on the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation, who already sits on the panel.

The Space Coast also gained an ally last week when Rep. Suzanne Kosmas, D-New Smyrna, was assigned to the House panel that oversees NASA policy, the Science and Technology Committee.

You can read a statement from Martinez's office here.

And follow these links to the offices of Bill Nelson and Suzanne Kosmas.

Martinez is as conservative as Barney "Soap on a Rope" Frank. Just what NASA needs another RINO who will slash and scrap Orion and Aries in favor of what Robert "Der Furher" Reich wants, jobs for anyone but the pale faces.

Yeah, almost as funny as Barney Frank and Barack Obama wringing their hands about the economic collapse they were instrumental in causing by encouraging lenders to give money to people with no jobs, bad credit, and no liquid assets.
Almost as funny as a nominee for Treasury Sec'y being $34K in arrears in taxes.
Almost as funny as having Penny Pritzker as your finance chair after she ruined Superior Bank, leaving thousands of Illinoisans without a pot to piss in.

Oh, wait. Funny ha-ha or funny infuriating?

Hopefully someone will show our esteemed where the space center is. Heretofore his interest has been less than stellar to say the least.
