
Endeavour and seven astronauts landed at the Mojave Desert military base on Nov. 30, capping a highly successful mission to outfit the International Space Station for crews of six. Stiff crosswinds and approaching thunderstorms prompted NASA to forego two opportunities to land at Kennedy Space Center. It was the 52nd shuttle landing at Edwards in 124 shuttle flights to date.

They are definitely very cool, and we should all thank someone@usaspace-ops for sending them along. The detail when you click to enlarge the image, and then click the enlarged image to get an even bigger view, is stunning.....
