Endeavour on pad; joining Atlantis

Space Shuttle Endeavour is on its launch pad at Kennedy Space Center this morning, arriving just before dawn after making the 4.2-mile trek in the dark of night.

The move began at 11:15 p.m. Thursday and took a little under seven hours.

You can see live shots of the shuttle on the pad and the work happening there all day in our blog. Just by refreshing this page, you can see the latest live video feeds from the Launch Complex 39 area.

The left image shows Endeavour on pad 39B and the middle one shows the live NASA TV feed of Endeavour from a different angle. The image on the right is a video feed at Launch Complex 39A, where Atlantis is being readied for launch to the Hubble Space Telescope on or about Oct. 10.

We're now webcasting live NASA TV coverage of the rollout starting at 6:30 a.m. Simply click the NASA TV box on the righthand side of The Flame Trench to launch our new-and-improved NASA TV viewer. And go to our space chat section to tell us what you think.
