
The state will pony up a $2 million incentive to lure Google Lunar X Prize competitors to Florida launch sites that include Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The money would top $30 million that is being offered up to the first privately funded team to land a robotic rover on the lunar surface.
