The Air Force has issued a launch hazard advisory, warning boaters to stay clear of an area off Cape Canaveral from 2 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, when Atlantis is scheduled to launch at 2:45 p.m. EST.
Persons entering the Eastern Range's Launch Hazard Area during the designated time can be fined up to $50,000.
