Live: Refresh this page for periodic updates on the countdown to the planned launch of an Atlas rocket and a classified National Reconnaissance payload at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. You can click here to play a live webcast in a 2nd smaller window beginning around 4:43 p.m. EDT. The live shots above and the broadcast will not come up until 20 minutes prior to the planned 5:05 p.m. EST launch. A live video feed from the pad, without commentary, should be available at that time by clicking here.

The countdown to the launch of an Atlas 5 rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station is proceeding without problems, but mission managers just adjusted the liftoff time to avoid a collision in space.

Look for the Atlas and its clandestine cargo -- a classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office -- to blast off from Launch Complex 41 at 5:05 p.m. EST. That's about the same time the International Space Station will be flying over the central Florida area.
