Ham radio interview fails; Window nicked

An attempted ham radio connection at 11:15 a.m. EDT failed between Endeavour and Barbara Morgan's former school in McCall, Idaho. The connection was rescheduled and Morgan talked for several minutes with students and former colleagues.

Endeavour Commander Scott Kelly sent down a photograph of a micrometeorite strike on a shuttle window, a common occurrence.

"It is considered to be a nick on the window, nothing more," said NASA commentator Rob Navias, "and will have no impact on the mission."
