Atlantis flew up the beach in Brevard County and then landed at Kennedy Space Center at 8:24 a.m. Tuesday. It will be moved to the orbiter processing facility by Wednesday morning to begin getting ready for a Dec. 6 mission to the International Space Station.
The ferry trip from California took three days because the aircraft avoided bad weather.
"We didn't even get close to a cloud," said 747 pilot Dave Finney.
