Senator Nelson should tell Obama that he will not vote for any health plan until the President fully fund NASA and space exploration.

I sincerely hope those who are making the decisions have more guts than those making the recommendations. Are we a country who wants to be on the fore-front of discoveries and technology? Or do we want to watch other countries do it?

The aerospace migrant worker program is about to change again. Are you prepared for the change? Because times are a changing and the rocket ranch gravy train is coming to an end.

I agree with that,if you don't the chinese and others will !!.Is that what the USA wants, somehow i don't think so. The world really admired you for the Apollo achievments. And thats coming from an englishman .!.

Have the balls to go back out there and learn how to live on the moon, and then figure out how to go on to mars.

America has forgotten that it is the pioneering spirit that has lead to the greatest discovers of all time. Our children, children, childrens will look back at our apathy and wonder what was wrong with us.

What do they want to do, "Start all over". They built the Space Station and since we can't get there in 5 years they will decommission it. Like building a house and two years later demolishing it. We spent all the money getting it to where it is and just leaving. I thought it would be used as a stepping stone to the moon or beyond.

Has anyone heard that we are spending (giving) the Russians $54 million for each trip we use on their rocket and we have 24 trips already scheduled.

NASA and America have forgotten that while it was government programs that blazed the way and built infrastructure, it was individual people, families, and communities that settled our first frontier. The report finally recognizes that NASA needs to change from beating the Russians to exploring the frontier. The US does not and can not maintain international supremacy in space with a bureaucracy; it must build a marketplace. The HSF report finally, refreshingly... and bravely makes this fact plain.

I like how Nelson cleverly avoided suggesting to Obama a destination for NASA and the method of transportation. He's a savvy politician and the reason he got to fly on 61-C all those years ago!

No it doesn't...its a report put together to outsource most of NASA to either current of former employers of the committee.

When Ares-1X flies perfectly on Tuesday or Wednesday you can expect The Big "O" to stand up, take credit for it and then either kick in $3 Billion or cut NASA off at the knees.

pay close attention to your revered Mr. Nelson's votes in Congress. Lived in Brevard Co. many years ago when he was our congressman. I always wondered how he kept getting elected in what was then a conservative district. Starting watching his votes in Congress closely and discovered he managed to always vote for conservative issues in a losing cause. When the libs needed his vote for a close one, he of course toed the DNC party line. I NEVER saw a vote of his count in a winning cause on any issue of interest to conservatives. He played the game well and positioned himself for a lifetime on the dole in government. He's as wishywashy as they come and a contributing reason Florida is sinking down the rathole with Mexifornia, New Pork and Ill-noise. Glad I got out in 94. Maybe you can become a suburb of New Pork and start taxing everyone into oblivion.--CowboyBob, Montana
